Curio-Fy enforces these rules to maintain a safe environment:

  • Harmful or Dangerous Content: Videos promoting dangerous activities, challenges, or stunts.
  • Hate Speech: Content that promotes violence or hatred against individuals or groups.
  • Violent or Graphic Content: Depictions of violence, gore, or explicit material.
  • Harassment and Cyberbullying: Threats, doxing, or malicious intent targeting individuals.
  • Misinformation: Spreading false information about significant events like elections or health crises.
  • Spam, Scams, and Deceptive Practices: Misleading metadata, titles, or thumbnails; scams or pyramid schemes.

Age-restricted content includes videos with adult themes, excessive violence, or sexually suggestive material.

Copyright Rules

Curio-Fy operates under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), and all content must respect copyright laws:

  • Do: Use original content or licensed material. Attribute properly when using third-party content.
  • Don’t: Upload copyrighted material without permission, such as music, clips, or images.

Consider using royalty-free or Creative Commons-licensed content.

Curio-Fy Admins reserve the rightto remove content that violates copyright rules or guidelines.

Technical Guidelines

Ensure your videos meet Curio-Fy’s technical requirements:

  • Resolution: Minimum 426x240 (240p); up to 3840x2160 (4K).
  • Formats: MP4, MOV, AVI, FLV, WebM, etc.
  • Aspect Ratio: 16:9 recommended; others supported.
  • File Size: Max 10MB of video.
  • Video Duration: Max 3 minutes of video.

Thumbnails must comply with guidelines and have a recommended resolution of 1280x720 (16:9).

Best Practices

Follow these tips to create engaging and compliant videos:

  • Accurate Metadata: Titles, tags, and descriptions should reflect the content.
  • Engage Viewers: Encourage comments, likes, and subscriptions.
  • Ensure Accessibility: Add captions or subtitles for wider reach.

Reporting and Appeals

If content is flagged or removed, you can:

  • Appeal: Submit an appeal if you believe the video was flagged incorrectly.
  • Strikes: Avoid repeated violations to prevent account suspension.
